I have mixed feelings about this place the people on the sales floor. I feel like they're all Bros. I don't like talking to them. They're not natural or not not comfortable to speak to you. The people in the parts department especially Mike. He's amazing. They're amazing. I love taking my truck here they're always so friendly and so helpful.

After having a terrible experience at stevens creek toyota that was trying to charge me for markups and fees that would end up cost 6000 dollars more than what car worth it and wasting my time for 5 hours I came to Santa Cruz toyota to test drive and buy my new car. When I first came to the dealer ship Max greet me and ask what I needed. After explaining what car I am looking for, he directed me to the car of my choice and went to bring the car keys so I can test drive it ( which wasn't my experience in stevens creek Toyota and I didn't get the chance to test drive the car I wanted) he showed me the car details during our test drive and he was really knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. When we went inside the dealer ship to talk about our options they were much more reasonable with the price than what I experienced at stevens creek for the same car and even though this was the first time I was purchasing a vehicle and didn't have that long of a credit history ( at the age of 21) they were able to give me the lowest advertised apr of 5.99. And even though they were reasonable with their first offer they came down to meet the price expectations that I had as well. During our negotiations the car that was in parking lot got hit by another customers vehicle so it had to be fixed before they were able to sell me the car and during the time that car was being fixed, Max had a great communication with me and was updating me on the status of the vehicle and even when I asked him that I needed a vehicle they rented me a temporary vehicle immediately free of charge. The financing was super fast as well and I spent total of 1 or 2 hours in the dealership test driving, negotiating and going through financing in total ( compared to 5 hours of waiting at the other Toyota which would have taken even longer if I wouldn't have gotten out of the deal I had over there). In general I had a great experience at Santa Cruz Toyota and I would definitely recommend Max since he was really helpful and friendly.

We had pretty much decided we wanted a plug in hybrid after doing some research, we looked at Ford Escape, and Volvo, but the fact Toyota owns the hybrid technology, and leases it to other companies was the closer. That means everyone else is probably 1 or 2 generations behind from a technology standpoint. I have had Toyotas for years, stepped away for a Ford and came right back. Abel Pena was our sales person and he was perfect for us. Just stated facts, and listened to our needs, went and found us the exact vehicle with all the capabilities we wanted, introduced us to the sales manager and between the two of them, we knew we had the right vehicle from the right dealership. They took excellent care of us and I know from previous experience that they will continue to do so. We love our new car!!
